Firecrackers, acid, heroine? Guess the possibilities are endless! I guess a recent experiment was waxing my 'stache! I though my raw nose had healed from my cold last week...and it hadn't. So I will say it is never a good idea to wax your manly facial hair when your nose-skin is tender!

I am not much of a pack rat given all of the moving I have done in my life but I don't think I will ever part with my SDSU sweatshirts. There are still cozy and I still wear them on the regular.

2/25/2012 - What's the last dream you remember?

Well... if you really want to know...

I dreamt that I had spent the night somewhere downtown SD and woke up and had to find my car which Alexi had parked somewhere between downtown and OB and forgot to tell me where. I had all of these boxes of wine that I had to get to the car but a.) didn't know where it was and b.) only had these super high stiletto boots to wear. I was not digging my outfit I had brought either.

At the same time that all of this was going on, I was trying to help Jill find Annie because Annie was supposed to come and take pictures of Chardy to submit to NBC to see if they would do a story on her. The only thing was that you had to be over the age of 31 to be considered so Jill was worried it wasn't going to work out. I guess Annie had taken pictures of Louie before and so she was our new doggy photog.

2/24/2012 - Today you've got too much...

Yay! It was Shanny's birthday so she might have had too many beers! Ha.

I had too many requests that came in at 5 p.m. when I was ready to call it a day. I was supposed to leave the office around 5:45 to meet Lia and Jan for fondue but didn't get out until closer to 6:45. C'est la vie!

2/23/2012 - What's the most embarrassing purchase on a recent credit card statement?

Well I haven't been using my credit card much lately (thank the lord!) but I do use it for online purchases here and there and it is hooked up to my iTunes account. So I would say the most embarrassing are the Fine Young Cannibal songs I purchased from iTunes a couple of weeks back. It seemed like a good idea at the time....

2/22/2012 - What was your prevailing emotion of the day?

Mine was disbelief. As you all know I have been seeking out new opportunities beyond my current work situation and I know that there are some other unhappy campers who are in my boat. But when I started at this job a year ago, we were close to 20 full time employees. Since then several people have left and we are down to 10. Last week another girl in my department gave her notice which leaves my department to me, 2 assistants and 1 freelancer. I just can't believe that they haven't replaced those who have left and now if I go.... I have no idea what they are going to do!

2/17/2012 - If you could change something about today, what would it be?

If I could have changed on thing today I would have exercised. I woke up late and was dragging all day but I feel like if I had exercised I would have had more energy. Overall it was a good day though.

John and I went to Jingle Ball back in December. It was awesome! We arrived a little late so we missed the no-names but we got to see:

• David Guetta

We were surrounded by screaming 12-year old girls but besides that it was a great show.

Lots of wine! And stay away from the love songs... they will only make you feel worse. But in all seriousness I think time is the only thing that can cure a broken heart but I am not sure you ever fully heal.

Scorned! John's new show. It even showed him sitting at the bar in the strip club holding some dollar bills. Amazing.

I would want to start my own event planning company and bakery. I really love planning parties and doing things to make them special! Maybe someday once I am financially secure, I can take on this adventure!!

I am currently seeking security. I want things to feel stable and secure before I begin to seek out adventure! Now, I have never been a particularly adventurous person, but maybe once I feel like certain parts of my life are in order...I might feel comfortable taking on some adventure. P.S. Today? The beer and cheese restaurant we are going to try out tonight with friends and John's show Scorned premiering tonight on Discovery ID. Should be racy!

This year? Lots of weddings (unfortunately not my own but...), lots of fun, travel, bachelorette parties, dresses and festivities!! Can't wait. : )

I don't think I am holding a grudge at all...but maybe there is something repressed deep down inside! I will think about this further! I tend to hold onto to grudges against myself for mistakes or bad decisions I have made...should probably give that up!

Well this was really yesterday's question, but since it seems Kristina was under the influence of something, we are doing a swap a roo!
As of today, I currently owe many different financial institutions various amounts of money! Credit card, student loans, insurance...ahh the list goes on! I owe some of you money I am sure that I borrowed along the way! I don't think anyone owes me money...I wish the California lottery did!

1/16/2012 - What's the oddest thing you are wearing today?

A headband. Didn't want to do my hair today so the headband holds my bangs back so I don't look like a total hobo. Also wore flip flops around the house because I can't wear them outside and miss them so.

I will say mine was a 6. It was the other half of the burrito I had yesterday. So reheated in the microwave didn't do it any favors!

1/14/2012 - Are you a leader or a follower?

Others may have their own opinion, but I think I am both a leader and a follower at times. When it is something that I care about, I think I get a little bossy and thus become a "leader" (or maybe more of a tyrant). But if I don't have an opinion one way or the other, I am more go with the flow and therefore a follower.

1/13/2012 - Where Do You Want To Travel Next?

Always on my list are Austin, New York and San Francisco (not exotic, I know, but pieces of my heart are there!)! I had the pleasure of going to each last year and had so much fun! I really want to go to Hawaii or Mexico and just relax! Don't think that will happen this year! The next place I will be traveling to is Las Vegas!! Who knows, if I strike it rich there...maybe I will get to make my travel dreams come true!

Well I think all know what a great accesorizer I am! Ha! Since I never wear them, I guess I would have to say my favorite is my wedding band and engagement ring and diamond earrings. All items that Jerm bought for me and they rarely come off!

Today I lost $20 to the Girl Scouts of America which equals 5 boxes of cookies. One however was purchased for charity so it makes the other 4 acceptable.

1/10/2012 - Write Down Something That Inspired You Today.

I have lost 5.6 pounds so that was my inspiration for today! When I want to eat sweets that someone brought to work, that number (however small), encourages me! I also watched Guy Vs Rachel and it inspires me to cook!!

1/9/2012 - Was today typical? Why or why not?

It was typical up until 3 of our 15 employees quit - one being my boss. She is the most senior in the agency (besides the owner) and then it is me in my department so this could get interesting. Change can be good but I have the feeling it is going to be crazy!!

1/7/2012 - You are Lucky; How so or not so?

I am not sure how much I believe in luck - I tend to think that everything happens for a reason. But yes I know that I am lucky/blessed/fortunate etc as well as all you others on this blog. I read a stat yesterday that really put it in perspective for me: an individual with an after-tax salary of just $34,000 per year ranks among the richest one percent in the world; half of the world's richest 1% are Americans. Not that money is everything but to live in one of the richest countries means access to healthcare, food, affordable housing and a higher quality of life.

So to be born in this country, to have the job I have, the friends I have, the family, the life (the list goes on) I would say that I am pretty darn lucky. 

1/5/2012 - Today was tough because...

Today was tough because I am planning two fancy work dinners (one in Maui!), and I don't get to go to either!! All the food and fun makes me so jealous!! Who is up for a tropical vacay!? It was also tough because Jack found his " lost" Spiderman suit right before school and wanted to wear it...tears were a flowin'!

1/4/2012 - What Was The Best Part Of Today?

For me, the best part of today was my walk at lunchtime for two reasons; 1) It was so great to get out of the office and actually get some exercise. I have had a pair of shoes at since for two years and today was the first time I have used them in forever! I feel like I conquered something...I hope to keep this up daily, and 2) San Diego really is beautiful. I realize how much I take living here for granted. For some reason, I usually get annoyed when people post pics of a sunset or sun on the bay on FB or otherwise proclaiming how beautiful it is here etc...but today I totally got. Me walking in my work clothes, passing by obvious tourists with their pale skin..made me smile on the inside. I felt like they looked at me and envied me, because this was my view on my lunch break!
The Super Lotto drawing is in 10 minutes...so maybe my day will get even better!!

1/2/2012 - Can People Change?

Day 2 and already a deep question!
I do believe people change, but I think the core of who they are will always remain the same and is determined at an early age. As much as I would like to be more outgoing and social, the core of me will always be shy, insecure and unsure. I can try and "change" how I am for certain situtations, but that will always just be me.
I should have mentioned that one of my missions is to post here each day...some questions will probaby be very mundane, but I think the fun is in how we answer them! Tough to be philospohical with a 2 year old next to me drooling chocolate cookies!

1/1/2012 - What Is Your Mission?

This is something I have been thinking about a lot lately, probably because a New Year always brings hopes of new beginnings, new adventures, happiness and success! My mission for 2012 is to sweat 15 times per month, lose the excess weight I have been talking about losing for 10 years, become (almost) debt free, be a better mom, wife and friend. This doesn't sound very deep, but my mission is simple, execution is the hard part! Someone I work with said, "Dreams without action are just hallucinations"..so true!! What's your Mission?
