1/24/2012-If you were going to start your own company, what would it be?

I would want to start my own event planning company and bakery. I really love planning parties and doing things to make them special! Maybe someday once I am financially secure, I can take on this adventure!!

  1. Shannie I'd hire you! Have definitely seen you plan enough parties for us girls and Jack to know you are super good at it. I keep saying you and Gina need to start a party planning business together...you two would forsure have me as a repeat customer!! As for me, I'd start a travel business. I love planning trips, finding hotels, planning itineraries, etc. And I'd try to specialize in trips to Bora Bora so I could go back to where Tom and I had our honeymoon to do 'research' : )

  2. I have 2 dream businesses to start. The first, Kirsten and I one day plan to open a little organic coffee shop across the street from a dog park that sells coffee, organic dog treats and fresh flowers. The second is a yoga studio. Maybe one day one of them will happen! Would be so nice to be your own boss. And I can't imagine loving going to work everyday -- what a concept!

  3. I would love to open a clothing and jewelry boutique one day and be able to travel around and pick fun things for the store (kind of like what Lesley does for World Market). I would also love to open a wine bar with my sister. We have talked about it before but I would need to get back to the west coast before that could happen.

  4. Shannon you are hired! I give you 100% control :)
I would like to open up a boutique so that I can shop all day. I also think I would like to be a nutritionist bc I like to boss people around and tell them what to eat and what to avoid.
I'd really like to do anything that doesn't involve me sitting at a desk all day long.

  5. I think owning a winery or bed and breakfast would be so fun. Or something with dogs, but I would probably get too attached.
